Fish is a performance by Asko W6022. Nun and I are just choreographers to capture his/her movement.
It is performed in 277 GOLD STREET THEATRE.
This is a performance about the analog world inside of a washing machine. The world inside the washing machine contains 2 seperate parts. One is the door, whose movement is elegant and slow. The other is the inside chamber. It is rotating so fast. You see a fish swimming and struggling with the flow resistance. It is only alive when air is blowing so fast over his body. When there is no force and speed, the fish would gone. It is a creation not meant to attract attention because it would kill itself in the end. It is a creation created by a washing machine that none part of the washing machine is designed to be a fish creator. The fish exists, like a reminder for the physical world’s randomness and unpredictability.
