model in Rhino

I use the tween curve function to generate some tween curves for the model.

I also need to make sure that each line is not parrallel with the whale tale pattern that I want. So I can make the moire effect.

Then I use the tube function of rhino to generate the model and take a rendered black screen shot.

I made the offset of line by drawing them manually.

image tracing

I use the image tracing function to turn the picture into a vectorgraph. It is very helpful and powerful in turning high contrast image into vectorgraph by tracing its edge and smooth them. Then I can turn it into CAD and 3D model in Rhino.
